Kollywood hunk Arya's marriage to the rising actress Sayyeshaa came as shock to many. Firstly, they had a huge age gap. He was 17 years older than her!

Then, there was the controversy of bride hunt reality show Enga Veetu Mapillai (EVM), in which Arya didn't marry any of the three finalists. In fact, when the wedding announcement was made official, Arya was trolled and attacked online for 'giving false hope' to the young girls who joined the show in the dreams of marrying him.

Now, after the commotion surrounding his marriage have calmed a bit, Arya has come out to talk about his upcoming film Mahamuni and shared unknown details about his married life with Sayyeshaa.

According to Arya, their love story didn't begin on the sets of Ghajinikanth, instead, they only got closer after the shooting of the film ended.

"During the film shoot, we were very professional. Only after it ended, we started liking each other. Around February or March after the film shoot, I felt like it was her," he said.

Talking about his wife, Arya was full of compliments. He proudly credits her mother Shaheen Banu for wonderful person Sayyeshaa has turned out to be.

"She's very down-to-earth. I think I've not seen anybody so sensible. She's young but her maturity level is high. She advises me most of the time. Her maturity and humility at this age are incredible. It amazes me!" he expressed.

When asked about what makes Sayesshaa emotional, Arya explained that everything he does makes her emotional.

"She really loves me and cares about me so much. Even small things are very big for her. I'll ask her why you are feeling so much for such a small thing, but she won't agree with me," he added.

Even during the Enge Veetu Mappilai controversies before their marriage, Sayyeshaa didn't create any trouble and stayed supportive throughout the period.

"It was more of my decision than hers. She didn't question me or we didn't talk about the topic (EVM) much. So, it was much easier for me," Arya said.
