Actor-Sathyaraj-Reveals-Why-He-Rejected-These-Movies-with-Superstar-Rajinikanth

We all remember actor Sathyaraj in many personas on-screen. From the righteous and conflicted Kattapa in Bahubali to the jovial and caring father in Raja Rani, Sathraj has proved himself as a versatile actor from time to time.

However, in his early days, Sathyaraj began by portraying villainous roles. Slowly, in the mid-1980s, he transitioned into an action hero and eventually started essaying romantic roles as well. His breakthrough came in the 1990s as his combo with actresses Kushboo and Meena proved to be successful.

In the 2000s, Sathyaraj shifted to supporting roles as new actors like Ajith, Vikram, and many others made their debut. Even though he didn't secure his place as a lead actor in Kollywood like his peers Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, Sathyaraj became well-known as a dedicated and talented actor who could perform in any given role.

Age never bothered the actor. Once Sathyaraj acted as Rajinikanth's father in a film called 'Mr. Bharath' but in reality, he was four years younger than the Superstar. Their chemistry was highly-appreciated, however, Sathyaraj rejected the opportunity to grace the screen again with Rajinikanth in two much recent films, 'Sivaji The Boss' and 'Endhiran'.

Talking about his reasons in a throwback interview, Sathyaraj explained, "After a film of the caliber of Mr. Bharath with Rajnikanth, I couldn't settle for anything less. So I didn't accept Sivaji. Similarly, Danny Denzongpa's character in Endhiran couldn't lure me. Come on, you do agree, don't you?"

Well, we couldn't agree more. Would you like to see the duo on-screen again? Let us know in the comments!
