Shoppers, brace yourselves for a double celebration at the Central i-City Shopping Centre in Shah Alam this month!
 
The celebration kicks off with Deepavali-related events on every weekend starting October 5.
 
Among the events lined up are Deepavali Kolam competition, Henna art workshop, Flower garland making workshop, Diya (oil lamp) making workshop, and candle jar painting workshop.
 
Besides, shoppers can also expect to be entertained with various events lined up, such as Bollywood dance and instrumental performances.
 
To further enliven the atmosphere, a mini kolam have will also be displayed near the Redemption Lounge and the nearby pillars will be wrapped with flower garlands. This would accord shoppers their photo opportunity and be creative with their #OOTD.
 
As for the Kolam competition, it would take place at the East Concourse, Ground Floor, involving 20 groups of participants.
 
The Deepavali-related events will begin on Saturday and will go on every weekends, and will conclude on Monday, Oct 28.
 

Among the events lined up are henna art workshop on Oct 5, 12, 13, 19, 20, and 26, flower garland making workshop on Oct 5, 6, 20, and 28. There will also be Diya (oil lamp) making workshop on Oct 12, 19, 26 and 27, as well as candle jar making workshop on Oct 6, 13, 27, and 28.
 
 Shoppers will also be entertained to Bollywood dance performance on the following dates - Oct 5, 12, 19, 26, and 28, and Bollywood instrumental performance on Oct 6, 13, 20, and 27.
 
All the events will be held from 1pm to 6pm at Central Annexe, on the ground floor of Central i-City shopping centre. Click here.

The festivities fever will be followed by Halloween celebrations, where for the first time ever,
Central i-City will create the Halloween Haunted House with Halloween characters ad various decorations.
 
Shoppers will be required to overcome a total of 5 game challenges in a maze of "family-friendly" haunted house, solve puzzles and stand a chance to win gifts/vouchers. Shoppers who spend RM150 anywhere in the mall will be entitled to a redeem a Halloween Maze entrance ticket.
 
Several events have also been lined up to make the Halloween celebrations extra special.
 
There will be a Halloween mask workshop on Oct 26, 28, and Nov 3, while a Halloween Mascot walkabout will be held on Oct 26, 27, 28, as well as Nov 2 and 3.
 
Shoppers can also learn to make "spooky" bookmarks by participating in the Halloween Bookmark workshop on Oct 26 and Nov 2, while there will be a Pumpkin DIY workshop on Oct 27 and Nov 2.
 
There is also the Halloween face painting workshop, which is sure to entertain young shoppers, lined up on Oct 27, 28 and Nov 3. You can check the timing for the workshop here.

All the events will take place between 1pm and 6pm on the above-mentioned dates, on the Link Bridge on the first floor of the mall.
