Malaysia's award-winning magician, Vikneswaran Allagu, who survived being buried alive previously, attempted a dangerous underwater trick and escaped! His incredible feat secured him a spot in the Malaysian Book of Records once again on 17th August at Starxpo Centre KWC.

Watch his heart-sinking attempt in front of hundreds of spectators where he was be tied and locked at the bottom of a water tank without any oxygen support:

Vikey, who hosted Astro's famous 'Maayavithagan' programme, has won 'The Best Endurance Magician Malaysia' by Thailand Magic Association Prestige Award and 'The Best Mystical Magician Malaysia' by Thailand Magic Extravaganza.

He was also honoured with the 'Merlin Award', the highest honour to receive in the field of magic.

During his first act in 2017, Vikey was tied-up with 13 padlocks inside a tightly hand nailed coffin, which was then buried 6 feet under.

His life and a name in the Malaysia Book of Records were at stake if the young chap failed to escape within two minutes.

But to everyone's surprise, Vikey emerged from the crowd - alive! The astonished crowd cheered after witnessing one of the best magic tricks of their lives.
