Tamil School Students Win Big At Invention Competition!

Tamil school students have done it again!

This time, they have won a couple of gold medals and a silver medal at the World Invention Competition and Exhibition (WICE 2020) held in Kuala Lumpur recently. 

Four pupils from SJKT Pusat Telok Datok won the gold medal for their invention called "Smartest Gas Leakage Sensor (SGAS)". The invention also won the best invention award, as well as the grand award from the Indonesian Young Scientist Association (IYSA). 

The second gold was won by students from SJKT Jenjarom, for their invention "Plastic Jewellery". The invention also earned a special award from the Malaysia Innovation Invention Creative Association (MIICA). 

As for the silver, it was won by SJKT Barathy students from Alor Setar, Kedah, with their invention "My Guardian". Besides the silver, the invention also earned a special award from Segi College. 

Besides the Tamil schools, students from SMK Methodist and the Royal Military College also won the gold and silver medal for their inventions called "Remote House", and "Smart Fertilizing Ash Machine", respectively. Both the inventions also won additional special awards from MIICA. 

Bravo to the winners. Tamil school students are indeed proving that they are a force to be reckoned with, when it comes to science and inventions.
